OUR MEDICAL SERVICES
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
EMERGENCIES AND URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS
If you or a family member is having what you believe is a true medical emergency, seek immediate medical treatment by calling 911, or by going directly to Poudre Valley Hospital Emergency Room.
If you or a family member is having an urgent medical problem, call our office at (970)221-9991 (during office hours), or (970)488-1442 (after office hours). We can then determine if you should be evaluated at our office, an urgent care center, or Poudre Valley Hospital emergency room.
If you or a family member is having a non-urgent medical problem after our office has closed please call our office during regular office hours or visit a local urgent care center. Please note that your insurance plan may not pay for your non-urgent visit to an urgent care facility as your care was not provided in our office.
Patients are normally seen by appointment only. We understand that medical
problems or injuries may suddenly arise. We will make every effort to attend
to your needs. Please call our office prior to arrival, if possible, to help
us to facilitate your care.
Remember that if your condition is life or limb-threatening, you should not come to our office but call 911 for emergency care and transport to the emergency room.
We provide in house diagnostic services including urine analysis, urine pregnancy
tests, rapid-strep tests, microscopic evaluation of vaginal infections, hematocrit,
electrocardiogram, audiogram, and pulmonary function tests.
Most blood tests are drawn in our office and sent to a certified lab. The results of these tests are sent to us usually within 48 hrs. Please call our office if you have not received the results of any test we have obtained within one week.
We refer X-ray's, ultrasounds, bone density studies, etc. to independent certified facilities managed by Board Certified physicians in their respective specialties.
REACHING DR. JINICH AFTER HOURS
To speak to Dr. Jinich about an urgent medical problem call his answering service
at (970)488-1442. Dr. Jinich is available after hours for medical problems that
probably should not wait until the office opens. Please do not call after
hours for prescription refills, or insurance questions. Dr. Jinich values
his personal time off work and appreciates your understanding.
Each call is generally returned within a short period of time. If your call has not been returned after 30 minutes, a second call is suggested.
Dr. Jinich does not routinely share call with other doctors unless he is out of town. He is therefore "on call" 24 hrs. /day, seven days a week. Please be judicious about calling him after office hours.
